Through practice research, I have been privileged to collaborate with colleagues in different parts of the world to develop social work, couple and family therapy, as well as disaster management projects. As the Chair of the Fourth International Conference on Practice Research (2017), I moved the debate and advocacy for practice research in social work from the West and explored the organizational and community contexts and challenges of practice research in Asia.
